At the age of 8 years old I started with music school lessons.

From the first music school lessons on drums you couldn't drag me away from my drumKit.

While having music school lessons I also joined the Royal Dutch Drumband in Maastricht which is my home town.

After 6 years at this drumband I managed to be head and First percussion player.

Being inspired by Rock Groups I wanted to play in a Rock-Band.

At the Age of 14 I joined the first Rock-Band.

Soon after the band ALASKA asked me to join on Drums people liked my attitude and my drum-style.

Two years later the band Belgium band Lions-pride asked me to join them on their tours.

Lions-pride had a international record deal with Roadrunner a well-known label.

With many concerts and several demo recordings I never was pleased with the sound-quality on my drum recordings, this is what kept fascinating me, why wasn't my drumsound not as good as my heroes ?

After finishing my High-school I decided I wanted to go further as a professional drummer.

Soon after there was a company who where looking for someone young and new for a job opportunity.

So there I was being hired at a sound-company fulltime job.

Keen to learn all the skills as a sound-engineer, worked about 70 hours a week, 7 days a week.

I wanted to be the best sound-engineer in the industry.

After 6 years at this rental company I decided it was time to be a freelancer.

I founded Soundproductions in 19/////

Worked many shows for a company called DEE Sound & Lights in Antwerp

Many interesting acts came along my way like Maceo Parker, Christopher Cross, Art Garfunkel and many more.

In 1997 I was asked to be the sound-technician for a Dutch band VOLUMIA !

Volumia played about 120 shows a year, as a freelancer a dream came true, enough work and the best theatres and biggest venues to be touring such as AHOY Rotterdam, The Kuip etc.. After 6 years the band decided to split and it was again time for me to look for something else.
